Real coaches who've been in the trenches and know what it takes
Look, we're not about fancy Instagram poses or cookie-cutter routines here. Our crew's been through the grind - from competitive fighting rings to powerlifting platforms. We've dealt with injuries, plateaus, and all the messy reality that comes with getting stronger. That's exactly why we can help you cut through the BS and actually make progress.
Head Strength Coach
Been lifting for 15 years and coaching for 8. Started out as a scrawny teenager who couldn't bench the bar - yeah, seriously. Now I focus on helping people build actual functional strength that matters outside the gym. No fluff, just results.
Combat Sports Director
Fought amateur for 6 years before switching to coaching. Got tired of getting punched in the face but loved the discipline too much to quit. I'll teach you how to move like a fighter even if you never step in a ring - it's about that edge and conditioning.
Athletic Performance Coach
Ex-college athlete who blew out my knee junior year. That rehab process taught me more about movement and performance than four years of sports ever did. Now I help athletes avoid my mistakes and come back stronger from setbacks.
Nutrition & Recovery Specialist
Spent years chasing fad diets before getting my head straight and studying this stuff properly. Nutrition isn't about restriction - it's fuel for performance. I also know everyone's beat up, so I'm big on recovery work that actually moves the needle.
Strongman & Functional Training
Used to work construction, and honestly that's where I learned what real strength looks like. Competed in strongman for years - still do occasionally. I'm all about building the kind of strength you can actually use when life throws heavy stuff at you, literally and figuratively.
Group Training Lead
Group classes are my jam - there's something special about that collective energy when everyone's pushing through together. Started teaching fitness classes to pay for grad school and never looked back. My sessions are tough but we're gonna have some fun with it too.
Okay so real talk - I was that 135lb kid in high school who got winded walking up stairs. Started lifting because I was tired of being weak, plain and simple. Took me years to figure out what actually works versus what looks cool on social media. Got my CSCS in 2017, been coaching full-time since then.
I've worked with everyone from total beginners to competitive powerlifters. What I've learned is that the fundamentals never change - progressive overload, good form, consistency, and eating enough. Everything else is just details.
Keep it simple, stay consistent, and don't do dumb stuff that'll get you hurt. I'm big on compound movements - squats, deadlifts, presses. That's where the magic happens. We'll work on mobility too because being strong and immobile is like having a sports car with flat tires.
I don't believe in shortcuts or quick fixes. You're gonna work hard, but I'll make sure every rep counts toward something.
"Marcus doesn't waste your time with fancy exercises. Six months in and I've added 80lbs to my deadlift and actually fixed my back pain. Worth every penny."
"Finally found a coach who gets that I have a full-time job and kids. Marcus designs programs that fit my life, not the other way around."
I've got slots Tuesdays through Saturdays, mornings and evenings. First session's a consultation where we'll talk goals, assess where you're at, and figure out if we're a good fit.
Get Started with Marcus
Started training Muay Thai when I was 19 after a bad breakup - yeah, classic story. Fell in love with it immediately. Competed amateur for 6 years, went 12-4, then realized I enjoyed teaching more than getting hit. Added BJJ and boxing to round things out.
What I love about combat sports is they're honest. You can't fake your way through a sparring session. That mentality carries over into everything - you show up, put in the work, or you don't progress. Simple as that.
Combat training isn't just about learning to fight - it's about building confidence, discipline, and a kind of toughness that bleeds into the rest of your life. We'll work technique, conditioning, and strategy. Even if you never compete, you'll carry yourself differently.
I push people hard but safely. There's a difference between being tough and being stupid. We're building you up, not breaking you down.
"Sarah's the real deal. Trained with her for a year before my first amateur fight. She doesn't sugarcoat anything but she's got your back 100%."
"Never thought I'd do combat sports but Sarah made it accessible. Lost 30lbs and feel like a completely different person. Best workouts of my life."
Available Monday through Friday afternoons and evenings. We'll start with fundamentals and build from there. Bring your game face and a good attitude.
Train with Sarah
Played college basketball until I tore my ACL junior year. That injury was brutal - not just physically but mentally. Spent 9 months rehabbing and came back stronger than before. That experience completely changed my perspective on training.
Got my degree in Kinesiology while recovering, then added performance certifications. Now I work mostly with athletes trying to level up or come back from injuries. Been doing this for 7 years and still learn something new every week.
Athletic performance is built on a foundation of movement quality, explosive power, and injury resilience. Too many athletes skip the basics and wonder why they plateau or get hurt. We're gonna build you right from the ground up.
Speed, agility, power - all of that comes from proper mechanics and smart programming. No shortcuts, just proven methods that work.
"Jake helped me come back from a shoulder injury that three other trainers couldn't figure out. Now I'm stronger than I was before I got hurt."
"Dropped 0.3 seconds off my 40-yard dash working with Jake. His attention to detail is incredible. Every session has a purpose."
Training slots available Monday through Saturday. We'll do a full movement assessment first session to identify any weak links or imbalances.
Work with Jake
I'll be straight with you - I used to have a really messed up relationship with food. Tried every diet under the sun, tracked every calorie obsessively, felt guilty about eating. Finally got fed up and went back to school to actually understand nutrition science.
Got my RD credential, studied sports nutrition, and learned that food is fuel, not the enemy. Now I help people build sustainable eating habits that support their training without making them miserable. Also certified in yoga because recovery matters just as much as training.
Nutrition's gotta be realistic or it won't last. We'll dial in your intake to support your goals, but I'm not putting you on some restrictive diet that you'll hate after two weeks. And recovery work isn't optional - mobility, stretching, sleep hygiene, all of it matters.
You can't out-train a bad diet, and you can't sustain progress without proper recovery. Let's get both dialed in.
"Priya completely changed how I think about food. Lost 25lbs without feeling like I was on a diet. She gets it because she's been through it."
"Finally sleeping better and recovering faster thanks to Priya's guidance. The mobility work she taught me fixed issues I'd had for years."
